“Just as there are two sides to every story, there are two sides to every person. One that we reveal to the world and another we keep hidden inside. A duality governed by the balance of light and darkness, within each of us is thecapacaty for both good and evil. But those who are able to blur the moral dividing line hold the true power.” Emily Throne
This came to mind when thinking about black and white clothing – two opposite colours, but always presented in every woman’s wardrobe. Black is strong, stylish, chic, low profile, but sophisticated and modern. White is light, fresh, elegant, happy and more outstanding colour. These two can be easily combined, and often are, for monochrome look. Both are also good teamed with colours. Perhaps that is holding the true power in fashion.
Black and white is always present on my atelier rails too. Threads I need to replenish the most often are black and white. Biggest, most glamourus dresses I have worked on, have either been black or white. Ofcourse, most wedding dresses are white. I’ve also noticed that over time I have created more casual items in these colours than in any other. Using this as my starting point, I am now able to make small line-ups of my creation, organize and sell it online, on etsy. There is some other weird and wonderful and colourful numbers too. Welcome to have a look. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/kaireshop
The clothes that we wear say a lot about us as a person. Not only how we see style, but also how we perceive...
